How to Open a Wittix Business Account
To open Wittix Business Account fully online, please follow these simple steps:
Step 1 - Complete the online application
Fill in the business application form
here.
Step 2 - Upload documents
- Proof of operational business address (a document issued within the last 90 days), such as:
- Office or co-working space lease agreement
- National company registry extract showing the operating address
- Utility bill (electricity, water, landline phone)
- Bank statement or bank reference letter
- Business licence or authorisation, if your activity requires one.
Step 3 - Verify your identity
The authorised person opening the account must complete a short live identity verification using one valid original document:
- Passport
- EU/EEA national ID card
- EU/EEA driver's licence*
- Residence permit issued in Lithuania
* If a driver's licence is used for live verification, a copy of the passport or EU/EEA national ID card will still be required at a later stage of the onboarding process.
The verification must be completed by the document holder in a well-lit environment. Copies or screenshots are not accepted.
Step 4 - Additional documents (if requested)
Depending on your company structure, country of registration, or business activity, the Wittix onboarding team may request for additional documents, for example:
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Client or supplier documents (such as invoices or contracts)
- Bank statement related to the first incoming transfer
Account review and approval
Most applications are reviewed within 1–3 business days, provided all required information is submitted.
